Pour’n Yer Heart Out

EVENT INFO

The PYHO (Pour’n Yer Heart Out™) community iron casting event will be celebrating its 17th year on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Garver Feed Mill, with a lineup of day time / night time action that will cause some serious FOMO if missed.

We’re hosting a full blown outdoor winter festival like we’ve never done before.  A collaboration with local businesses, industry experts and professional foundry artisans from across the country leading the charge, we gather once again on Madison’s east side to melt over 2,000 lbs of molten iron that will get cast into sand molds prepared during public workshops throughout January and February, before the event.

FeLion’s radically spectacular and hands-on opportunities allow any person / student / youth / elder / artist & non-artist the chance to make a deeply unique, hand crafted iron casting right from scratch!

Workshops at PYHO 2026

GET INVOLVED

We have a variety of creative, administrative and general labor tasks that need a rotation of volunteers before, during and after every PYHO event. Click the button below to fill out our Volunteer Interest Form so you can get on the email list for current and upcoming opportunities at our events!

VIP Passes

For a more elevated experience, you can purchase the VIP wristband for access into the heated tent area with firepits and patio furniture to snuggle into during the pour.  The VIP pass includes a ticket to make a custom tin casting at our Foundry in a Box station, access to the VIP-only sauna station, and exclusive viewing of the sculptural display and engagement with the iron artists who created them. We will have a Friday night “meet n’ greet” with iron artists who have brought a mold to pour at PYHO, and you can learn and enjoy the new connection with the incredible craft involved in foundry arts.

FEELING THE PYHO LOVE

We’ve kept PYHO free to attend through a mix of highly attended workshops and the extended support from a fabulous pool of corporate and individual community sponsors every year.

Consider joining the team of business & community leaders who enjoy the exposure of their engagement with local creative and manufacturing industries at the big event. Everyone benefits from the material and financial sponsors by keeping the event safe, organized, comfortable & fun for all who attend!

AT THE EVENT

The molten iron will start flowing at 5pm CST,  but the day is filled with activities including our Foundry in a Box tin casting station from 1pm – 3pm inside Garver at Canvas Gallery,  the VIP tent with a wood fired sauna +  dutch oven snacks, and a live DJ with heated beer tent just before the pour starts.

Don’t leave early either, as we are introducing the Christmas tree burn pile, open to community to haul your dead tree in to help grow the pile for $20/tree, or sign up for our Christmas Tree Christening crew, which allows you to ignite your tree using a small ladle of molten iron from the furnace.
