This small, ultra mighty magnetic hanger cleanly displays smaller cast iron or art pieces made at FeLion Studios’ iron pour events. The hanger consists of a countersunk neodymium (rare-earth) magnet rated for holding up to 5 lbs of cast iron securely*.
Simply use a #8 head screw to attach it to a wall stud or cabinet door, and stick your iron item to the magnetic surface. Good to use on other ferrous-based cook ware accessories, or even for cleavers, carbon steel or garden tools! Hardware is included with each order!
Pull Strength: This magnet is rated for a 40# pull strength, which translates to roughly a 5 lb ferrous item to be safely held up. For unbalanced or uncentered items, consider getting 2 magnets to help avoid slumping, spinning or the item flipping upside down due to uncentered weight distribution.
Removing items off the hanger is as simple as putting them onto it. Just grab the pan handle or another cantilevered point on your object and tip it off the magnetic surface.
